This policy explains in plain language how Nexara Living handles personal information when you browse the store, contact us, create an account or place an order.
Who we are
Nexara Living is a registered business name of World of Shisha PTY LTD (ABN 83 656 958 468), 108 Bundall Road, Bundall QLD 4217, Australia.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the store, we may collect:
- contact and account information, such as name, email, phone number, address and account preferences;
- order, delivery, return and support records;
- payment and transaction information provided through the checkout payment provider;
- device, browser, IP address, cookie and storefront-interaction information; and
- communications you send to Nexara Living.
Do not send full payment-card details, passwords or unnecessary identity documents to customer support.
How information is collected
Information is collected directly from you, automatically when you use the store, and from services involved in operating the store, including Shopify, payment providers, analytics and advertising services, delivery providers and return-processing services.
Why we use personal information
We use personal information to:
- process payments, orders, deliveries, returns and refunds;
- provide accounts, support, fraud prevention and store security;
- communicate transactional information and, where permitted, marketing that can be unsubscribed from;
- understand and improve store performance and customer experience; and
- meet legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations.
Service providers and disclosure
We disclose relevant information to services needed to operate the store, including Shopify, payment providers, delivery and return providers, customer-support tools, analytics, marketing services and professional advisers. Each provider receives information appropriate to its role.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights or safety, or in connection with a legitimate business transfer.
Shopify and payment processing
Shopify hosts the store and processes information as part of its platform services. Read Shopify's Privacy Policy for information about Shopify's practices. Payment information is handled through the selected checkout payment provider; Nexara Living does not ask customers to send payment-card details by email or contact form.
Cookies, analytics and advertising choices
Cookies and similar technologies help operate checkout, remember preferences, measure store performance and, where enabled, support advertising. Available consent and opt-out controls depend on your location.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws define certain disclosures for targeted advertising as “sale” or “sharing”. Where that applies, use Your Privacy Choices or the storefront privacy controls to opt out.
Marketing choices
Marketing signup is optional. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or contact us. Transactional messages about an order, account, return or security event are separate from marketing.
Storage, security and retention
We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the store and its service providers. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We retain information for as long as reasonably required for the purposes described above, including order support, fraud prevention, legal obligations and dispute handling.
International processing
Shopify and other service providers may process information outside Australia or your country. Processing locations can change with the providers used. We require service providers to handle information under their contractual and legal obligations.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent. Some exceptions may apply. Email sales@nexaraliving.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We may need to verify the request before acting.
Privacy complaints
Send a privacy concern to sales@nexaraliving.com with enough detail for us to investigate. We will acknowledge and review the concern within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you may be able to contact the privacy regulator in your jurisdiction, including the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner in Australia.
Children
The store is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a way prohibited by applicable law. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information improperly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when store practices, services or legal requirements change. The latest version and update date will be published here.
